Love the concept; the app is a bit glitchy, sometimes slow and finicky but probably easily fixable. I want it to more convincingly compete in my usage with Facebook messenger app and its smoothness. I sent a general feedback message to WowApp on facebook about adding GiveWells evaluated efficient charities to the apps list - and i received a prompt and genuinely positive response :)

Not sure if it can or should replace instant messaging apps like whatsapp, but the call feature is amazingly priced and qualitative!

Prices to make calls on this app are actually higher than they appear initially. For instance, you will pay 4.99 to get 3.50 worth of "wow credit". Its this "wow credit" you will later see being charged for calls, leaving you the impression that calls are impossibly cheap. Its still ok priced, but this system is a bit of an unnecessary cheat, no?
Also, theres a lot of clutter in the app about earning wow coins, growing your network to earn more, donating the wow coins, etc...Personally, have not found any value in this whole system. I mean, 1$ worth of "wow coins" in more than half a year... Cannot really feel motivation and pride to donate that. Also, earning more the bigger your network is... has a pyramid scheme feel to it thats not particularly elegant.
Call quality ok, prices ok and on par with other apps, cluttered interface and concept.

Works great AND you can earn cash when people in your network make paid calls. We all win!
Wow! This new messaging app has now replaced WeChat, WhatsApp, Kakao, Messenger, Skype and all the others for me. Works on all platforms and has text, voice and video like the others.
What makes WowApp beat out the others is that they pay the users as they use it!
It is fun hearing the coin drop noise in the morning when I open the app.

Ive discovered this app one month ago and I like it very much.
I can chat with my friends, I can make video and audio calls and while doing so I earn real money than I can donate to charity.
